Based on the results of the 39th week (21-27.09) the NTN's market share for the target audience '18-54' made up 4.8%, and for the audience '18+' –4.4% (cities 50+). These are the Channel's highest indices since it started its broadcasting in November 2004. Among top 10 channels the NTN managed to overtake the 'First Channel. Worldwide Network' within a week and has notched the seventh position.
For two weeks on end the NTN has been showing record ratings of viewership in all sorts of audiences. The most tangible growth was observed last week (21-27.09) when September 21st saw the kick-off of the NTN's new television season.
During the 39th week the daily average share of the NTN Channel in the target audience '18-54' equaled 4.8%, which is 0.51 points or 12% higher than the record having been set by the channel the week before.
In the '18+' audience the NTN's share has reached 0, 72 points and totaled 4.4%, which made it possible for the channel to move to the 7th position in the ratings table leaving the 'First Channel. Worldwide Network' behind.
It is worth mentioning that there have been significant changes made in the weekday line-ups. From Monday to Thursday in prime time at 19:25 you will see a new line of Russian TV series. The first in this slot was 'Zeta Group' which started from September 21-24 and immediately increased the line-up share by 2.1 points or 5.2%.
The 23:00 prime time TV series line-up includes the television series 'Criminal Minds'. The average share of the television series made up 4.8%.
A good rate of share growth can be seen in the projects of the Channel's own production. The programme share at 18:25 has gone up by 0.6 points up to 5.5%. The firm position in the line-up has been taken by the 'Truth of Life' (2.1 p. or 7.5%) and 'Physical Evidence' (1,9 p. or 6%).
The first five best programmes of the week on the NTN include the feature film 'The White Arrow' (Friday, ratings 2.3%, share 7.1%), the feature film 'Piranha Hunt' (Saturday, 20:00, rating 2.3%, share 6.3%), the 'Eyewitness' (Monday, 21:30, rating 2%, share 5.3%), television series 'Zeta Group' (Wednesday, 19:25, rating 1.9%, share 5.7%) and television series 'CSI: Las Vegas' (Monday, 22:00, rating 1.7%, share 4.9%).
The NTN is a nationwide channel broadcasting since November 2004. A member of the Inter Media Group alongside such Channels as Inter, K1, K2, Enter, Enter-Film and Megasport. The audience includes men and women at the age of 18-54, with the core of the audience being men at the age of 35+.
