"My Country" - a new series of auteur films at Inter

Inter presents a new series of auteur films "My Country", made by leading journalists of the TV channel. Films tell the audience about essential problems of Ukrainian society.

Each episode of the program is not only unique history, but also journalist’s personal judgement about particular situation in the country. The author acts as a kind of "moderator" between the characters and the audience, he tries to find the way out of the circumstances along with the characters.

The opening program "My Country."13"(author - Akim Galimov, director - Natalya Nedelko, camera man - Ivan Ermakov) will be aired on Tuesday, February 15. The program will be dedicated to the life of street children in Ukraine.

According to the chief editor of Inter’s information services, Alexander Pylypets, "a new project "My Country" will enable journalists to develop the topic comprehensively, to step out of news format and to show their attitude toward particular social problem".

"While working on news stories our reporters gather lots of interesting material on the subject. But a standard 2-minute news story is not enough to cover all of it", - says Alexander Pylypets. - "The new format will allow journalists to develop important and complicated topics and to show their attitude to the problem as well. Each story is the authors look at various aspects of life in our country, above all".
