The largest media group in Ukraine, UA Inter Media Group Limited has filed 12 applications for the competition to obtain a license to broadcast in the national digital multiplex.

In addition to the existing eight channels of the group - "Inter", "K1", "K2", "NTN", "MEGA", "Enter Film", "Enter" and "MTV Ukraine", the applications were filed for the four new channels , which  media group is planning to launch. They are  "TV News", "Sport TV", "Net income" and "Melorama."

"Media Group "Inter" is already the largest in Ukraine, but we do not want to stop. Now that television is increasingly developing towards a clear positioning of content, we want to create for our Ukrainian viewers additional opportunities to choose a niche channel, based on personal needs. I am sure that sports channel, news channel, financial channel and "Net income" will find its audience. The latest digital technology, nationwide coverage and quality of signal will enable us to provide world level to Ukrainian TV," - said Chairman of the Board of UA Inter Media Group Limited Jaroslav Porokhnyak.

A great number of applications have been filed so far in the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, for the places of the digital multiplex for national broadcasters.
