Market share of K1 TV channel increases

Kyiv, June 25, 2008 – The growth of the share of K1 TV channel in the weekend of July 14 and 15 has totaled 25 percent in comparison to the previous week, while the growth on the programmes during the prime time has totaled 50 percent. It is worth noting that this growth had occurred concurrently with the translation of the Championship of Europe in Football on the channels of the competitors of the Media Group.

As such, the share of "Comedy Club" was 2.2 percent, of the news programme "One Day" – 1.5 percent, "Vicious Link" - 1.2 percent, and also there was a growth on the scale of adventure films in the daytime "Vinity. The Gold of the Apaches" – 2.4 percent and 2.5 during the repetition. On Sunday, just as on Saturday, there was a growth in ptime on "Vecherniy Kvartal" – 4.6 percent, and on the main feature film "The War of Heart" – 2.7 percent.
