London-Kyiv, March 12, 2008 – U.A. Inter Media Group hopes to raise more than $500 million during the initial public offering (IPO) on London Stock Exchange in 2Q of 2009.
"Our aim is to be listed in 2009 in London and to carry out the biggest placement in the history of the Ukrainian economy on a western stock exchange" said Mr. Yaroslav Porokhnyak, a Group's Vice President, Strategic Investments.
Mr. Porokhnyak also said that the group will continue an aggressive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) strategy to invest the funds raised in London into television and new media.
U.A. Inter Media Group Limited (www.uaimg.com) was established in 2005.
