Kyiv, April 23, 2008 - At the general meeting the shareholders of the Closed JSC 'Ukrainian Independent TV Corporation' (Inter TV Channel) have elected Olena Khoroshkovska as the Head of Supervisory Board of the Company.

Previously  this post has been occupied by Valeryi Khoroshkovsky. At the end of December the shareholders relieved Mr. Khoroshkovsky of the duties due to his assignment as the Head of State Customs Service. Mrs. Khoroshkovska, the wife of the owner of the channel Valeryi Khoroshkovskyi, joined the Supervisory Board as a representative of JSC 'Ukrainian media project'.  Up to 61 percent of the 'Ukrainian Independent TV Corporation stakes belong to 'Ukrainian media project'.

The General Meeting of April 18 has also decided to withdraw Eugene Kharkovshchenko and to introduce Volodymyr Sigalov into the Supervisory Board.
